The story of Winifred Babies began back in 2005 by a blanket addicted 2 year old. She needed a blanket to eat with, play with, ride in the car with, and especially sleep with! As her mother, I began to research what this attachment was all about and why this blankie was so important. Her blanket made her feel safe, comfortable, and secure. Upon understanding this, I began to make my own receivers for her that were extra thick and durable to put up with the daily draggings. I thought other mothers and blanket obsessed children could benefit from my savvy sewing and a company was born; Winifred Babies.
You may ask yourself “Why “Winifred” Babies?” The answer to this is simple. It is an elegant, unique, beautiful name to put on our elegant, unique, and beautiful products!
Now, 6 years later and mama to 2 beauties, with many a new idea tried and tested, Winifred Babies has a plethora of blankets to choose from; one for every age and every taste or style!
